Springboard

Springboard+ 2015 has been launched today at the Department of Education & Skills. The new Springboard+ course menu will provide 9,000 free higher education places for jobseekers.

Springboard+ offers free training to eligible jobseekers to retrain and reskill for sectors in which there is a need for skilled personnel.

Courses last no longer than 12 months and are from certificate to master’s level. The range of courses available includes:

  • Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise
  • Business and Management
  • Financial Services Technology
  • International Financial Services
  • Economics and Finance
  • Computing
  • Mobile Cloud Gaming
  • Software Development
  • Procurement and Estimating for Construction
  • Construction Management
  • Lean Construction Scheduling and Control
  • Building Regulations, Implementation and Compliance
  • Construction Business Excellence
  • Construction Informatics
  • Construction Contract Management
  • Building CAD with Revit Architecture
  • Food Science and Technology
  • Food Innovation
