The ESB have just announced 300 new apprenticeships.

The announcement was made today by Tanáiste and Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton TD, at theESB Networks Training Centre of Excellence in Portlaoise where the company announced plans to recruit 300 new apprentices in the coming years.

Potential applicants are now being invited to express their interest in anElectrical Apprenticeship with ESB Networks.

Candidates are currently invited to express an interest online. They will then be contacted by email and invited to formally apply for an apprenticeship by completing an online application form by 29th March 2015.

ESB Networks Ltd. carries out the construction, maintenance and operation of the distribution and transmission electricity network in the country. This includes sub stations and the overhead and underground electricity infrastructure that are used to bring electricity to Ireland’s 2.3 million, domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
