CAO Alert List for entry in 2013
1. College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences
New Level 8 BA Programmes not in the CAO Handbook or UCC Undergraduate
CK105 BA Film and Screen Media (3 years)
CK107 BA Geography and Archaeology (3 years)
CK108 BA International (4 years)
Two new Subjects available in the BA Programme, CK101: Portuguese and Asian
2. College of Medicine and Health
New Level 8 Nursing Programme (in both in the CAO Handbook and UCC
Undergraduate Prospectus):
CK714: Nursing (International) with German. The entry requirements for this
new programme are similar to those for other Nursing programmes, with the
addition of a Higher C3 in German in the Leaving Certificate or equivalent
3. College of Science, Engineering and Food Science
Changes to CK402 Biological and Chemical Sciences and CK404 Biological, Earth and
Environmental Sciences (previously titled Environmental and Earth System Sciences)
The subjects Environmental Plant Biotechnology, Plant Science and Zoology can
only be taken in CK404 and are no longer available in CK402.
