Accountancy giant PwC creates 280 graduate jobs

Posted by Francis O' Toole on October 1, 2012

The country’s largest accountancy firm is to create 280 graduate jobs as part of its annual recruitment drive.

PwC is seeking to recruit staff for its assurance, tax and advisory divisions nationwide.

Carmel O’Connor, human resources partner with the company, said the firm would take on graduates with financial background and others.

“The majority of our graduates come from various forms of accounting and business degrees, but we also encourage excellent graduates from other disciplines who desire a progressive career in business to apply.”

PwC, which employs about 2,500 people in Ireland, is taking on the new staff with opportunities for graduates from arts, economics, engineering, IT, law and science.

The jobs will be available in all its offices, including the head office at Spencer Dock, Dublin and in Cork, the mid-west and the south east.
