new Bachelor of Science in Craft Technology (Wood)

The Centre of Craft Studies at Cork Institute of Technology is pleased to announce a new Bachelor of Science in Craft Technology (Wood) with Business Level 7 Programme, which is commencing in September 2012.

This is a unique course that offers students the chance to learn more about carpentry and joinery and develop relevant business skills needed to run a business or manage large scale projects.

Graduates of this programme will have the skills and competencies to become self-employed in a  traditional craft area or to enter managerial levels within the construction industry using entrepreneurial skills acquired during this programme.  The course duration is over three years on a full-time basis.

Admission is by direct entry, application forms are available online or from the CIT admissions office.
