Placement Opportunities for Graduates with Disability

What is the AHEAD WAM Programme?
The AHEAD WAM (Willing Able Mentoring) programme is funded by the Department of Social Protection and aims to promote a more inclusive labour market for graduates with disabilities. It is led by AHEAD, the Association for Higher Education Access and Disability, which seeks to promote full access to and full participation of students with disabilities in higher education and to assist with their transition from education into employment. Participating employers in WAM offer paid and mentored placements to graduates with disabilities and specific learning difficulties for up to six months duration.

Work Placement Opportunities For Graduates with Disabilities/Specific Learning Difficulties currently available in Abbott Ireland, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and in ESB, Dublin If you are a graduate with a disability/specific learning difficulty seeking valuable work experience, the AHEAD WAM (Willing Able Mentoring) Programme, which offers a six month, paid, mentored work placement, may be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

Abbott Ireland applications are currently being sought for the following roles available in Abbott Ireland, located in Clonmel, Co Tipperary: 1. HR Assistant; 2. Manufacturing Technician; 3. Purchasing/Planning Assistant; 4. Quality Technician; 5. Training Specialist.
