Datapac to create 25 new Jobs

IT company Datapac is to create 25 new jobs across Ireland after winning an €8m consumables contract with the National Procurement Service.

The new jobs will be based across all of Datapac’s locations and 15 of the roles will be created this year, with the additional 10 positions being created over the following two years.

The new roles will be spread across Datapac’s locations in Dublin, Wexford, Cork and Belfast. The new positions will include sales, marketing and logistics roles.

“The contract is valued at €8m and is available to a wide range of public-sector clients, including central Government departments and their agencies, an Garda Síochána, the defence forces, all local authorities, the Health Service Executive, all vocational education committees, as well as primary and post-primary sectors and the third-level education sector,” said Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform Brian Hayes, TD.

Founded in 1982, Datapac serves 6,000 business customers across Ireland.
